20th July 2003 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: S, SW Wind Stength: 10 - 20 mph Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 25 Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny / cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Arrived at Brog about 9.30 earlier than normal because of the GP on at silverstone. The wind on at first was stronger than yesterday but seamed to drop abit so rigged 8.5 and techno 283. There was alot of holes in the wind today was on and off the plane. A couple of times today I had to check wether I had a sign on my sail saying "please gybe/tack infront of me so I have to avoid you" . Three times I had to take avoiding action when someone didn't look when tacking or gybeing. I was picking up a lot of weed on the fin today to didn't get any yesterday maybe the waters droped or its grow alittle since yesterday. Was sailing about the same lines too. If you manage to get planning with weed on the fin you can get some mental spin out even the lightest pressure on the back foot has you going sideways. Three stars due to weed and people wearing blinkers |
